It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Gary (Clinton, South Carolina), born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Godfrey and Alice Young Godfrey. She is survived by: her children, Sammy Gary, Angela Gary, Sarah Gary and Ethel Godfrey; and her sisters, Lena Smith and Hattie Richardson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
