He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Brooks and Arnettie Herring Barfield; and his siblings, Helen Hulon, Claudia Nell Sanders (Siddie), Edna Faye Lollis (Tootie), Joyce Woodberry (Short), Lynette Jackson, Wanda Gail Berry, Jerry Brooks Barfield, Billy Ray Barfield and Daniel Lee Barfield.
He is survived by: his wife Tammie Patterson-Barfield; and his siblings, Larry Barfield (Barbara) of Graham, NC, Joe Curtis Barfield (Gay) of Joanna, SC and Bonny Kaye Cowen (Tony) of Latta, SC.. He is also survived by many other adopted children, sister in laws, relatives, including numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Clinton First Pentecostal Holiness Church (403 Academy St, Clinton, SC 29325). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Clinton First Pentecostal Holliness Church (403 Academy St, Clinton, SC 29325).
