With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hattie Shands Suber of Clinton, South Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Grace Shands Williams and P. J. Watson; her husband James A. Suber; and her daughter Laura White Sturkey. She is survived by : her children, James Terry Suber, Marilyn Smith, Janice Robinson (Randy), MaDonna White Jeter (Lewis), Sameal White Graves (Rodney) and Alicia White Long (Al); her grandchildren, Teresa Goodman (Derrick), Marcus Smith, Marcus Sturkey, Randolph Robinson, Jr., Kendall Dakers, Rodderick Graves (Rachel), Roddreta Graves, Jourdyn White and Myles White; her cousins, John Gibbs (Mary), Dr. James Gibbs (Carolyn), John K. Gibbs (Dawn), Jamie Gibbs, Sato Gibbs and Marcal Gibbs (Latoya); and her brother Karl McClary. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
