With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Isabelle Ford Brooks in Clinton, South Carolina, born in Clover, South Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, McLain Ford and Alliene Ford; her brother Mack Ford; her sister-in-law Anne Brooks Berry; her niece Martha Berry Noel; and her great-niece Rachel Noel.

She is survived by : her daughter Rev. Marty Brooks Simmons; her grandchildren, Joe Simmons (Beth) and Abby Lasky (Joshua); her sister-in-law Louise Ford; her niece Susan Kamin (Steve); her great-nephew Wil Kamin (Shannon); her great-niece Katie Kamin; her brother-in-law Dick Berry; her nephew Rick Berry; her great-nephew Walker Noel; and also, Hannah Simmons, Erin Simmons, Caleb Simmons and Max Lasky. She is also survived by her cousins; and her countless friends.

As requested by Izzie herself, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 29, Clinton, SC 29325 or to Presbyterian College, 503 Broad Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
