He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard King Sr. and Joyce Alverson King. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" King; his daughters, Nicky Lanford (Ben) and Catie Thomas (Kyle); his brother Richard "Skip" L. King Jr.; and his grandchildren, Sullivan, Benson, Willa Cate, Evie Mae, John Henry, Braxton, Emy Cate, Oliver and Wynnie.
