She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Wilton "Wilt" Madden; and her parents, James Franklin and Hattie Agnes Patterson Lawson. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Motte (Vickie Goode), Brenda Cooper, Linda Tucker (Dennis) and Jane Duvall (David); her sister Peggy Bayne; and her close friend Martha Reece. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
