She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Smith and Florence Denton Smith; and her brother Joe Smith. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Craig Edwins of Goldsboro, NC and Candace Edwins of Goldsboro, NC; and her sisters, Amelia King of Kings Mount, NC and Nadine Martin of Little River, SC.
