He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Richardson and Helen Rhinehart Richardson; and his sister Tammy Derrick. He is survived by: his wife Jean Jennings Richardson; his children, Ted Richardson (Amanda) and Shana Hammond (Mykel); his sister Diane Crumpton; his grandchildren, Kelsey Blakley (Braylyn), Kalen Richardson, Kinley Poston (Tyler), Konner Richardson, Roman Hammond and Lundon Hammond; and his great grandchildren, Paisley and Waylon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gray Funeral Home of Clinton (504 E Carolina Ave, Clinton, SC 29325). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Joanna Church of God (124 S Main St, Joanna, SC 29351). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at the Pinelawn Memory Gardens (25086 W C Dobbins Hwy, Clinton, SC 29325).
