It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Richard (Clinton, South Carolina), born in Laurens, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rose shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rose farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Earl and Katherine Barksdale. She is survived by: her daughters, Ivey Spann (Quentin) and Victoria Ferguson (Rodney); her siblings, John Barksdale, Michael Barksdale (Mary) and Bobbie Ann Holland; and her grandchildren, Kai'Wanda Ferguson, Alexis Gary, Vesa Valentine and Cortez Gary. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
