It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Workman Payne (Clinton, South Carolina), born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hayne B. Workman, Sr. and Catherine Heirs Workman. She is survived by : her husband Horace D. Payne, Jr.; her children, Horace Payne, III and Catherine Meyerholtz (Michael); her brother Hayne Bell Workman (Lou Anne); her grandchildren, Callie Copeland Meyerholtz, Jacob Michael Meyerholtz and Alexander Christian Payne (Natalie Edwards); and her great grandchild Liam Adam Payne.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Clinton (410 E Carolina Ave, Clinton, SC 29325).
