He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Bruce Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Williamson Padgett; his parents, Rev. John T. Padgett and Judith "JuJu" Mathis Padgett of Clinton; his children, Clayton Padgett (Ally) of Clinton and Chelsea Padgett (Cole) of Clinton; his siblings, Jerry Dickson (DeeDee) and Charlotte Iusti (Andy) of Clinton; his mother-in-law Linda Williamson Dunaway (Bobby "Pops" Dunaway); his grandchildren, Tilly, Della and Slate Padgett; and his aunt Linda Dees of Newberry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his fur babies.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gospel Assembly Church (1970 Charlottes Rd, Clinton, SC 29325). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
