He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Atwood and Minnie Gilliam Atwood. He is survived by: his wife Ella Atwood; his children, Thomas Atwood Jr. and Teresa Atwood; and his grandson Jobari O. Cooke. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sanders-Thompson Mortuary (1235 S Bell St, Clinton, SC 29325). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Westview Memorial Park (5740 US-76, Laurens, SC 29360).
