He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Wright (Carlton) and Jessica Grubbs; his grandchildren, Brandon Hughes Jr. (Maria), Kamerin Hughes, Connor Grubbs, Paige, Jasper and Kinley O'Shields; his great grandchild Addie Mae Hughes; and his siblings, Deborah Morgan, Cheryl Ballard, Crystal Grubbs, Stanley Grubbs and Milton Grubbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
