He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Worthy and Syble King Worthy. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Pace Worthy; his children, Christopher Worthy of Clinton, Taylor Worthy of Clinton and Jamie Hughes (Gary) of Gray Court; his sister Mary Worthy Johnson (James) of Taylorsville, NC; and his grandchildren, Eli, Mikah, Luke and Ayden Hughes.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whitmire Cemetery (211-219 Cemetery Dr, Whitmire, SC 29178).
