In the vast expanse of eternity, Neal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Neal farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Gillespie and Mollye Gillespie; and his sister Margaret G. Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Sarah C. Gillespie; his brother-in-law Calhoun, Jr. (Rhetta) of Clio, SC; and his sibling's children, Davis Calhoun (Julie) of Clio, SC, Gare Calhoun (Erin Davis) of Solon, IA, Teresa Mullens of Sautee Nacoochee, GA and Rebecca Morrison of Durham, NC..
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McLucas Cemetery (2345 Dunbar Hwy, Clio, SC 29525).
