She was predeceased by: her father Brinkley Curtis; and her husband Lamar William "Bill" McLaurin. She is survived by: her daughters, Monnie English (Charles) of Clio, Kim McLaurin (Harley) of Clio and B. J. Hughes (Markael) of Clio; and her grandchildren, Kristen English, Clinton English, Skyler Hughes, Faira Hughes and Holden Hughes.
