With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann Tinder of Clover, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Carol farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carol is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Hay and Harriet Mettair Hay; and her husband Leland Tinder. She is survived by: her daughters, Karrie Collaiti of Louisville, KY, Kellie Ames and Kathie Pate (Larry) of Clover, SC; and her brother Alan Hay. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
