She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Eugene and Mary Katherine Merritt Pitzer; her husband Robert Wayne Polk; and her daughter Rhonda Elaine McFadden Hugg. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ruth Polk Barnwell; her grandchildren, JC McFadden (Nikki), Amanda Barnwell Butcher (Mike), Bobby McFadden (Chris), Charlotte Baughman (Paul) and Bubba Barnwell (Lindsey); her great grandchildren, Matthew, Liam, Harper and Sierra; and her pet Buttons.
