He is survived by: his wife Yvonnie Garrett Block; his sons, Christopher Block (Carrie) of Belmont, NC, Daniel Block, Jr. of Wilmington, NC, Doug Block (Jennifer) of Waxhaw, NC, John Smith of Fort Mill, SC and Loren Smith of Kings Mountain, NC; his siblings, Wendy Jo Nichols (Kenny) and Ernie Block (Judy); his grandchildren, Jonathan McPeters, Christopher Block, Jr., Alex Lefler, Alayna Lefler-Thompson, Ryan Block, Brayden Block, Brooklynn Block, Tiffany Bendt and Makayla Smith; and his great grandchildren, Leeanna Kate McPeters and Macy Jo McPeters.
