David Franklin Thomas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Franklin Thomas of Clover, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Thomas and Willie Moore Thomas; his wife Lila; and his siblings, Henry, Kell, Phillip Thomas, Carolyn Cooke and Becky Moses.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Thomas (Jennifer) and Donna McDaniel (Lynn); his grandchildren, Kara Lesslie (Trey), Lyle McDaniel (Marsha), Kaleigh McCoy (Jeremy), Christopher and Lucy Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Lily Gammons (Noah), Kohen Sutton, Lila, Linley McCoy and Oliver McDaniel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Park (620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in David's name to Alzheimer's Association, The Heartest Yard and Epilepsy Foundation.
