She is survived by: her children, Cissy Childers (Mark) of Waco, NC, Crystal Starnes of Gastonia, NC, Loretta Starnes of Raleigh, NC and Michael Starnes of Conover, NC; her boyfriend Ray Swann; her stepdaughter Kristina Swann; her siblings, Becky Burrow (Charlie), Teresa Sisk (Kenneth) and Phil Tarr (Billie); her grandchildren, Hunter Starnes, Alyssa Boswell, Gage Jackson, Chase Jackson, Bradley Moose, Danica Childers, Emily Hurst and Zachary Driver; and her great grandchildren, Jazmine Starnes and Elaine Starnes.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (2200 Auten Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
