He is survived by: his wife Kay Marie Mabry Auten; his daughter Tonya Marie Auten Bennett of Charlotte, NC; and his sister Kay Auten McGarity (Dwight) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
