We are sad to announce that, on April 15, 2026, at the age of 68, Garnie Simmons of Clover, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Garnie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Garnie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Harvey and Delores Jean Jarrell Simmons; and his brothers, Harvey Simmons and Michael Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Margret Shaffer Simmons; his children, Christi Ann Simmons Csonka of El Dorado, KS and Zachary Garnie Simmons of Williamsburg, VA; and his grandchildren, Asher, Aleks and Finn.
