He was predeceased by : his father Ira Eugene; his children, Becky Hester and James Hester; and his siblings, Inuce Hunter, Cleo Cook, Florence Gill and George Hester.
He is survived by : his sons, Donald Hester (Cynthia) of Clover, SC and Michael Hester (JoAnn) of Clover, SC; his sisters, Mary Bush of York, SC and Betty Lou Crews of Gastonia, NC; his grandchildren, Angie Hester (Byron), Jesse Hester (Caylee), Savannah Hester (Nathan), Chad Lingerfelt (Michelle) and Jennifer Addison (T. Jay); and his great grandchildren, Aniyah Robbins, Kara Hester, Diana Hester, Levi Addison, Jake Addison, Lukas Addison, Chloe Lingerfelt and Will Lingerfelt.
