He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pendleton and Ethel Jackson Pendleton; and his wife Rebecca Ann Cagle Pendleton. He is survived by: his children, Chrystal Pendleton of York, SC, J. Pressley Pendleton, Jr. of Spindale, NC and Kenneth Barber of Clover, SC; his siblings, Emma Dover (Rick) of Clover, SC, Brenda Davis of Gastonia, NC, Christy Smith (Rick) of Lincolnton, NC and Tony Pendleton (Robin) of Clover, SC; his grandchildren, Trevor Falls, Bailey Neely (Wesley), Rhiannon Falls and Aspen Pendleton; and his uncle Ace Cloninger. He is also survived by his four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home (209 N Main St, Clover, SC 29710). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Lakeview Memory Gardens (1774 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745).
