She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon "Dusty" Rhodes and Mary Evelyn Carringer Rhodes; and her husband Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Walker. She is survived by: her siblings, Marty Long (John) of Stanley, NC, Ruth Gaddy of Asheville, NC and Randall V. Rhodes (Donna) of Sophia, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Walker, Terry Dancy (Guy) of Charlotte, NC and Johnny Walker of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
