She was predeceased by: her parents, John Woodward and Elizabeth Johnson Woodward; her husband Kenneth Robinson Nivens; her daughter Terry Lynn Nivens; her grandson Kenneth Austin Dorsett; and her siblings, Elizabeth Pyatt and John Earl Woodard.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Robinson Nivens, Jr. (Michelle) of Fort Mill, SC and Roxanne Nivens Black (Kenneth) of York, SC; her sister Ruth Hinson (Curtis) of Rock Hill, SC; and her grandchildren, LeAnna Carpenter (Isaac), Joshua Daniel Dorsett, Ethan Smart, Candace Spehar, Jesse Black and Anthony Black. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
