She was predeceased by : her parents, George Layton Hutchinson and Helen Valva Gerrald Hutchinson of Nichols, SC.; her husband John Jefferson Hovis; and her siblings, Corinne Stubbs, Genair Hutchinson, Izora Marlowe, Elowise Anderson, George Hutchinson and Roger Hutchinson.
She is survived by : her sister Rebecca Taylor of Perrysburg, OH; her niece Linda Stiwalt; and her great-nephews, Adam and Mark Stiwalt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
