With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy T Hambright of Clover, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Tate and Ezell Tate (Floyd); her husband Clement Hambright; her daughter Clementine "Tina" Hambright Kilgore; and her siblings, William Lewis Tate, James Haskel Tate, Ronnie Tate, Bernard Tate, Malcolm Tate, Bessie Lee Tate White and Lothel Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Hambright McGill of Clover, SC and William Hambright of Clover, SC; her sister Geraldine Tate Sharps (Grady Moss Sharps) of Charlotte, NC; her grandsons, Bryan Kilgore of Gastonia, NC, Christopher Kilgore of Gastonia, NC and Devin McGill of Clover, SC; and her son-in-law Artie Kilgore of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (301 E Liberty St, York, SC 29745). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1683 US-321, Clover, SC 29710).
