He was predeceased by: his parents, David DeWitt and Carrie Ann Aultice Skinnell. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lynn Barlow Skinnell; his children, Lisa S. Thornburg (Jeff) and Steve Skinnell (Laura); his siblings, Ashby Skinnell of Clover, SC and June Bumgarner of Canton, OH; his grandchildren, Amber Skinnell, Justin Skinnell, Taylor Carothers (Derek) and Barry Thornburg; and his great grandchildren, Roman, Lucian, Noah and Sebastian Carothers.
