He is survived by: his children, Debbie W. Smith (Billy) of Lake Wylie, SC and R. Max Whisenant (Kristy) of Clover, SC; his grandsons, Brandon Smith and James Truett; his great grandchild Kolie Truett; and his close friend Norma Atkinson of Clover, SC..
