We announce the death of Tootsie Pennington of Clover, South Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 86. Tootsie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Niles Pennington of The Pack; and her brother Maxie Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Terry Pennington Huffman (Ko) and Lynne Pennington Dixon (Jerry); her grandchildren, Whitney Grove (Stephen), Jade Huffman, Savanna Alley (Logan), Kaleb Huffman (Amanda) and Blake Dixon (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Sawyer Grove, Lawsen Grove, Lincoln Dixon, Sullivan Dixon, Jaxon Dixon, Garrison Dixon and Clara Mae Dixon; and her sister Kathy Ballard (Colene Wilkins). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Clover Wesleyan Church (102 Parkview Ln, Clover, SC 29710). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
