Wilma Clapps Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Clapps of Clover, South Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Choate and Virginia Choate; her son Eugene Clapps; and her siblings, John "Bubba" Choates, Elsie Weems, Neil "Perry" Choate, Jimmy Choate and Doris Choate.

She is survived by : her children, George "Ralph" Clapps II and Wilma "Jeanie" Williams; her brothers, Roy Choate (Cynthia) and Ray Choate, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Gwendolyn "Renee" Clapps, Alicia Williams, Ginger Clapps, George Clapps III and Demetrius Daniels. She is also survived by four beautiful great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
