She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Fielding and Genevieve Fielding; her husband Edward Gless; her daughter Carla Gardepe; and her grandson Billie Quinn.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanmarie Sessa (Richard), Betteann Kottmyer, Alice Suarez and William Quinn; her stepchildren, Odette Woods, Brian Gless (Cheryl) and Yvette Alou; Gerald Gardepe. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Alice requested that donations be made to the Connie Maxwell Baptist Children's Home in Greenwood, SC, or the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare; 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
