She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Walton Caughman and Keenan Gayden Caughman. She is survived by: her sister Cathryn Caughman Sins (Kay) of Atlanta, GA; her daughter Michelle Darby Nelson (Nick) of Mooresville, NC; her grandmother Darby Baron Burvenich (Peter) of Lady's Island, SC; her grandchildren, Tucker Baron, Ailey Kaitlyn Nelson, Peter Adam Burvenich, Grace Burvenich, Abigail Baron and Laura Nelson; and her cousin Elizabeth Baucom (Beth). She is also survived by family members, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation be made to Living Springs Lutheran Church, WDAV 89.9 classical public radio (Davidson, NC), the Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute (Charlotte, NC), or your local public library.
