With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annette Hairston Boette of Columbia, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 81. In the vast expanse of eternity, Annette Hairston shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Hairston and Maggie Jeanette Rutland Hairston. She is survived by: her children, Jack Boette (Rose) of Columbia, SC, David Boette (Kathy) of Greensboro, NC, Rob Boette (Leslie) of Lexington, SC and Meg Thrasher (David) of Pelzer, SC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home Devine Street Chapel (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205).
