It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur S. West of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. West, Jr. and Helen Christine Stiefel West. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Jane Flynn West; his children, Deborah Petri, Julie Hicks, Eric West (Miranda) and Andrew West (Radley); and his sister Chrissie O'Kelley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
