We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, at the age of 97, Barbara Wheeler Galarneau of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Bernard Wheeler and Azile Hair Wheeler; and her sister Fredna Wheeler Bartles (Dave). She is survived by: her husband Claude Gerard Galarneau; her daughters, Suzanne Galarneau Young and Michelle Galarneau; her grandsons, Christopher Wheeler Young and Kevin Michael Young (Kymberly); her great grandchild Kinsley; her sister-in-law Annette Valliere; her nephew Tommy Little; and her friends, Lisa Player, Carolyn Swittenberg, Sharon Berger, Dianne Law, Lynn Onley, Dawn Clark, Linda Powell, Elizabeth Register, Tashina Perales and Shania Alewine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
