With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice B. Boyd of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Boyd and Viola Bookert Boyd; her husband Charlie L. Boyd; her son Albert L. Weston; and her siblings, Serliver Trapp Boyd, Thomas Boyd, David Boyd and James Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Nelson (Larry) of Hopkins, SC, Brenda Weston of Cayce, SC, Reginald Weston (Samantha) of Lugoff, SC and Darrin Weston of Columbia, SC; and her sister-in-law Geneva Boyd of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by grandchildren; nine (9) great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other loving relatives, and caring friends.
