She was predeceased by: her daughter Dr. Christine Beachum Sellers; her brother Dewey Maurice Allread; and her parents, Dewey "Rock" Maurice Allread and Harriet Elizabeth Rucker Allread. She is survived by: her husband John Ray Beachum, Jr. of Columbia; her children, Michael Ray Beachum of Lexington and Dr. Jennifer Beachum Linfert (Jack) of Ridgeway; her sister Iris Allread Ball of Cayce; and her grandchildren, Jamie Sellers, Maddie Stout (Zach) of Camden, Katie, Emma and Matthew Linfert of Ridgeway.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home (3926 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shandon United Methodist Church (3407 Devine St, Columbia, SC 29205). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Quaker Cemetery (713 Meeting St, Camden, SC 29020).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Epworth Children's Home.
