It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Coffey Smith (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Lewis Coffey and Aquila Coffey; and her sister Winnifred Owens. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Coffey Jones and Sydney Lewis Coffey, Jr.; her daughter Deborah Gentry Allen; her son-in-law Grady F. Allen; and her grandchildren, Monica Jean Allen, Deanna Allen Rowe, Lane, Landen and Lauren.

Memorials may be made to Spring Valley Presbyterian Church, 125 Sparkleberry Ln, Columbia, SC 29229.
