Brett Scyphers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brett Scyphers (Columbia, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Brett farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Brett is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his parents, William F. Scyphers and Linda Scott McIntosh; his stepmother Carol Scyphers of Gilbert; his sister Patricia C. Spires (Terry Joe) of Gilbert; his nephews, Adam Spires (Brooke) and Mitch Spires (Tricia); and his great-nephew Jett Spires.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29201).
