He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Evans and Viola Holaday Evans; his caregiver Cheryl; his brothers, Eugene Evans and Gary Evans; and his former wife Sally Wingfield Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl W. Evans; his sons, Matthew and David Evans; his brother Darrel Evans; and his grandchildren, Riley, Knox Evans, Madison and Emma Chandler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
