She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Boykin and Mattie Boykin; and her siblings, Marie Boykin Whitley and Grover Peele Boykin. She is survived by: her husband George Barnwell; her daughters, Carline, Gail Barnwell Funderburk (Keith) and Susan Barnwell Adams (Jim); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Funderburk Tison (Chris), Noah Kirby Tison and Samuel Keith Tison; her sister-in-law Nancy Boykin; her nieces, Becky Boykin Hamm (Bruce), Darlene Whitley Pittman (Bruce) and Tamara Boykin Howle (Jeff); her nephew George Grover Boykin (Paige); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Gina, Mary Ashley, Elise, Georgia, Greg and Luke.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her memory to the Presbyterian Communities of SC (PCSC) Foundation.
