In the sacred silence of farewell, Carole is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carole's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elise Ford Jenkins and Douglass; and her spouse Noble. She is survived by: her sons, Noble Percival Jr. Cooper (Traci), Ford Sawyer Cooper (Ruby) and Martin Douglass Cooper (Karen). She is also survived by her grandchildren; and a host of relatives and close friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (1300 Pine St, Columbia, SC 29204). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Memory of Carole Jenkins Cooper to be made to Fisk University.
