It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn B. Gillis of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Kendall Gillis. She is survived by: her children, Tracey Wilkes (Jerry Summer), Brian Delesandro (Jeannie Siegel) and Kevin Delesandro (Sissy); her granddaughter Vicki Delesandro; and her caregiver Melinda. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews.
