It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Franklin Doty of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Doty and Ida Doty (Cruise); and his siblings, Patricia, Bill and James.

He is survived by: his wife Linda D. Doty; his stepdaughter Christy L. Kelly (Rune); his grandson Storm; his brother Tom Doty; and his nephew Joseph Doty.
