Charles will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwin and Daisy Smith Hellams; his sister Norma Hellams Phillips; and his daughter Paige Hellams Goldstein. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Williams Hellams of North Augusta; his son Harper Hellams; and his daughter-in-law Eileen of Miami.
A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery of Dials United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (1324 Marion St, Columbia, SC 29201).
