Jones of Charlotte and Kamry S. Goodwin of Raleigh; his great grandchild Ashton D. Hostos of Charlotte; his niece Valerie D. Priester of Columbia; and his siblings, James C. Samuel (Rosena) of Columbia, Willie Ross Samuel (Denise) of Quebec, Roosevelt Samuel (Eliza) of Columbia, Dorothy Etheridge (Eddie) of Columbia, Carol Samuel of Columbia, Juanita Samuel of Columbia and Christy S. Cain of Columbia. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
