It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Martin Bass Rhodes (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Petersburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Alexander and Jeanette Martin Bass. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Rob Rhodes (Jennifer), Derick Rhodes (Brigid), Geoff Rhodes (Candler) and Heidi Rhodes (Ashleigh); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah Louise, Isabella, Sam, Soren, Hearn of Emma Cynthia, AJ, Asa, Emma Jean and Elliott. She is also survived by her extended family and lifelong friends.
